Selection Criteria

 ·        Certified Organic

Ideally all products should be certified organic, but we have made exceptions for really fabulous products. In that case we have explained why.  Further, simply because it says organic on the label does not mean we’ll carry it.  It still must meet all our criteria.

·        Synthetic Free

All products must be completely synthetic free – no artificial fragrance, colors or chemicals. No exceptions here. 

·        Made in USA

We strive to buy products that are made in the USA for we truly believe that we must support our own economy first. Unfortunately that is not always possible.  In that case we only work with companies that have Fair Trade practices.

·        Certified Fair Trade

If products cannot be sourced in the US, then we work with companies that have demonstrated fair trade practices and not the exploitation of its workers.

·        Manufacturer Selection

We care about sustainability, we care about our community and we are committed to product integrity and full ingredient disclosure. So naturally we do business with like minded companies that make the best products possible.
